A Murray woman was arrested in Marshall County after she was found walking in the middle of Interstate 69.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies located 50-year-old Heather Myers after she had been reportedly walking in and out of traffic along I-69. Deputies believed that Myers was under the influence at the time and arrested her. During the arrest process, Myers allegedly offered to pay a deputy to “unarrest” her and let her go.
Myers was charged with disorderly conduct, hitchhiking, bribery of a public servant, alcohol intoxication in a public place, and drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place. She was booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.
