GEORGE COUNTY — Investigators are again asking for the public’s help in solving the 2021 killing of a George County man whose body was found on New Year’s Day 2021.

Cameron Perryman attended a New Year’s Eve party in the Benndale community on Dec. 31, 2020. The next day, Jan. 1, 2021, his body was discovered at a roadside park in the DeSoto National Forest in neighboring Greene County.

The George County Sheriff’s Office said Cameron had been at the party with friends and family and believes someone who was there knows what happened. Investigators urged anyone with information to come forward, noting that Crime Stoppers tips are completely anonymous.
