STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wesley Stace will close out the Hamilton Park House Concerts season in New Brighton on Sunday, Nov. 23, marking his third appearance at the Staten Island venue. The British-born artist—also known as John Wesley Harding—will perform from 3 to 5 p.m. in the intimate series held inside an 1864 Second Empire-style home.
Now based in Philadelphia, Stace is a singer-songwriter, novelist, and teacher whose career spans music and literature. His 1990 debut album Here Comes the Groom was hailed by the LA Times as “the first great rock record of the ’90s,” and he has since released 19 albums. He also created The Cabinet of Wonders , a variety show at City Winery praised by The New Yorker as “one of the finest nights of entertainment this city has to offer.”
