A Long Island woman confessed to running a nationwide drug ring out of her home garage.

Carolyn Tolin, 46, of Centereach, pleaded guilty in Suffolk County Court Thursday, Nov. 20, to criminal possession of a controlled substance and attempted operating as a major trafficker.

She admitted to selling heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and powder cocaine through her dark-web vendor page, where she was known as “MamaKnows Brown,” according to prosecutors.

Tolin moved more than $75,000 worth of drugs between September 2024 and March 2025. She shipped orders through the United States Postal Service and UPS and used Uber for local deliveries throughout Suffolk County, investigators said. Customers paid in cryptocurrency, which she later converted to cash.

According to prosecutors, Tolin allowed buyers to choose shipping methods and leave reviews on her product listings. She also included overdose-warning cards inside each package, cautioning users about potency, the risk of death, and urging them to keep Narcan nearby.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Tolin’s home in March. Inside her garage, investigators found fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine, along with packing materials, a digital scale, envelopes, a heat sealer, computers, phones, and partially prepared shipments.

Tolin remains jailed without bail. She faces up to 15 years in prison when she’s sentenced in January 2026.
