MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The second phase of construction on John Nolen Drive will begin next week, City of Madison warned drivers Thursday.
Starting on Monday morning, Nov. 24, all traffic will shift to the northbound lanes.
Drivers heading southbound will be routed by median crossovers, City of Madison officials said.
This traffic pattern will be in effect until the summer of 2026.
Right now, traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction and there are no left turns from Broom Street to John Nolen Drive. The left turn restriction for Broom Street will remain in place for the second stage of construction.
City officials added that the Capital City Trail will stay open during this construction phase.
