Ariana Grande was credited under her full name for both Wicked films: Ariana Grande-Butera.

She spoke in 2024 about the decision, saying she did it to honor her father, Edward Butera; they had previously been estranged.

Butera recently attended the Paris premiere of Wicked: For Good , and Grande recorded his reaction seeing the credits for the first time in 2024.

Ariana Grande has returned as Glinda in Wicked: For Good , and just like the first film, she’s credited under her full name, Ariana Grande-Butera. The actress previously revealed that the credit reflects a personal connection to the role and to her father, Edward Butera, who supported her at the sequel’s Paris premiere earlier this month.
