A former Coronation Street star has addressed his 'abrupt exit from the popular ITV soap.

Jack Carroll joined the cast in 2023, playing Carla Connor's nephew Bobby Crawford.

However viewers haven't seen him on the cobbles since May this year, when Bobby headed off on holiday.

A few weeks later, while watching a conversation between Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton, soap fans learned the character had left Weatherfield for good.

Although there was some speculation that Jack wouldn't return, confirmation of his departure left some shocked, the Mirror reports.

Comedian Jack, who was a runner up in the seventh series of Britain's Got Talent , has now revealed how he felt about his exit during a chat with The Sun.
