NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The CMA Awards rolled out the star power once again, shining a spotlight on the biggest names in country music.
This year delivered its share of standout victories with Lainey Wilson, taking away the most wins including the biggest award of the night, entertainer of the year.
On The Red Carpet caught up with some of the winners backstage as the celebrations kicked into high gear.
Cody Johnson picked up male vocalist of the year and used his moment to praise fellow nominee Chris Stapleton.
"He is one of the best vocalists of all time in any genre," Johnson said. "The man can sing any kind of music whatsoever and still make you get weak in the knees, because that's what it does to me."
