A prisoner who escaped from his work-release program was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on the casino floor of Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, officials said.
Jeremy Ott walked off his work site in Warrington, Pa. on Sept. 27, prompting the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office to issue a warrant for his arrest just days later, NBC 10 reported. The 30-year-old suspect managed to elude law enforcement for weeks, but on Wednesday, the U.S. Marshal service announced Ott was back in custody.
Images shared alongside the Marshal’s statement show officers cuffing Ott on the polka-dot floor of the casino and then escorting him past colorful slot machines.
Ott previously pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a police chase in Doylestown on July 19, 2024, Central Bucks News
