"Tremendously cruel" is how Tracy Corbett describes watching her beloved husband Mathew's life be cut short by pancreatic cancer .
Her husband was diagnosed in March and it all happened "terribly fast" as he died just six months later.
"Earlier this year we were riding around Tasmania on our Harleys because we're part of the Tasmanian Harley Owners Group, and we got back after doing 2000 kilometres and hanging out with mates and like-minded people, and Matt was feeling really tired and had been quite tired on our trip as well, which was unusual," she said.
"We got back and he sat on the edge of the bed and he looked at me and he said 'I just feel buggered'.
"I just said to him, 'oh babe, I said you're only 52, you're not an old man, there's something not right'."
