Amazon plans to invest $3 billion in a new data center campus in Vicksburg, a move state leaders say will deliver the largest private-sector investment in Warren County history and bring at least 200 full-time jobs to the region.
Gov. Tate Reeves announced the project on Thursday, calling it another major milestone in Mississippi’s push to attract high-tech development.
“Mississippi has built an economy that attracts world-class investment,” Reeves said. “This $3 billion investment by Amazon is the largest in Warren County’s history and another massive win for our state.
