Cambridge Dictionary's Word Of The Year
There are various dictionaries available for daily use. Many of them publish a "word of the year". Cambridge Dictionary is one developed by Cambridge University Press, and they just announced their word of the year, which is "parasocial". According to the various research I've found, the word essentially means the following: involving or relating to a connection that someone feels between themselves and a famous person they do not know, a character in a book, film, TV series, or an artificial intelligence.
