Mia Thornton was sued for eviction weeks before she was arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of furniture from a luxury condo she was renting.
Company Encore Management filed a lawsuit against Thornton and her ex-boyfriend and roommate, Jared McGriff, on Sept. 11.
In court docs viewed by Page Six, the company claims Thornton and McGriff rented a property and “fail[ed] to pay rent” on the unit located in Atlanta.
Encore Management demanded the duo be evicted and pay the past due rent of $5,100 for September, plus $6,085 per month up until the date of judgment.
The reality star and her boyfriend have not responded to the lawsuit. Us Weekly was the first to report on the eviction.
Page Six has reached out to a contact for Thornton but did not immediately receive
