Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco , known best for his starring roles in the films Gotti and Jamesy Boys , died Tuesday, his brother Santino Lofranco revealed on Instagram. He was 33.

Lofranco’s death is currently under investigation in British Columbia, Canada, where he passed, according to TMZ. The cause has not been determined.

Lofranco studied acting as a teenager at the New York Film Academy. His first major role came in 2013’s At Middleton. He was cast as Conrad Hartman, a high school senior touring a college campus in the indie romantic comedy, starring alongside Andy García and Vera Farmiga.
