REDWOOD, New York (WWNY) - People in Redwood say they’ve had pets killed and are afraid to let their children play in the yard. They say it’s because drivers speed through their community.
“You’d think people could slow down for just one mile, a little over a mile. No.”
Redwood resident Gene Brown has lived on Route 37 for 30 years. Recently, he’s had a problem.
“All hours of the day and night, people just bomb through this village. They don’t hardly slow down,” he said.
Other neighbors say it’s a problem as well. One says she’s had 2 cats killed.
Brown says people are afraid to let their children play in their yards along Route 37.
