SHARON - A Sharon man who was charged for possessing illegal explosives in 2022 learned his fate on Thursday.
Forty-seven-year-old Paul Graves was sentenced to one year in prison after pleading guilty to violating federal explosives laws on Thursday, November 20.
According to a press release, Graves began working as a manufacturer of military equipment in January of 2022 despite his status as a convicted felon. He was tasked with assembling the detonators on the M213 grenade detonating fuses, which contained explosive materials.
In April of 2022, members of the Pennsylvania State Police conducted a search warrant at Graves's home and found three fuses beneath the detonator assembly step and the sealing step.
