TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Lucas County Public Library is celebrating a major literary milestone with a lively twist on a classic love story.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, the library is hosting a free, interactive screening of the 2005 film 'Pride & Prejudice' on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Main Library’s McMaster Center.

The event, titled The Rocky Horror Pride and Prejudice Show , invites fans to participate in a call-and-response-style viewing inspired by the cult tradition of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Regency-era costumes and enjoy refreshments before the movie begins at 6 p.m.
