SPICKARD, Mo. (KCTV) - Investigators are searching for a suspect dubbed the “Hamburglar” after nearly 145 lbs. of hamburger meat was stolen from a rural Missouri home.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office says the thief made off with 144 1-pound packages of hamburger meat from a back porch freezer in Spickard earlier this fall.
Law enforcement officials note that the unusual theft has become part of a larger crime spree, which has already led to three arrests - but the hamburger meat and “Hamburglar” remain missing.

Investigators say the hamburger theft was just the beginning. At the same property, the suspect ransacked several vehicles.
