'In the blink of an eye': Heubusch gets ceremonial sendoff

BATAVIA — As the city's new police station nears completion, Shawn Heubusch's tenure as police chief also nears its end.

Though he technically doesn't end his time on the job until Dec. 1, Heubusch walked out off the new station a little after 3:15 p.m. Thursday, with colleagues, city leaders, family and friends standing in a line on either side of him.
