Indianapolis residents can look at detailed data on crime in their neighborhoods, along with traffic stops, and anytime Indianapolis Metropolitan Police uses force on anyone through the department's newly launched transparency website .
In a press conference on Nov. 20, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Chief Chris Bailey said the website has been a long time coming, and wouldn't be possible without the community partners, President and CEO of the Indy Chamber Matt Mindrum, JPMorgan Chase representatives, and members of the Black Church Coalition , who stood beside him during the announcement.
