KENT COUNTY, MI - The Kent County Animal Shelter has received a $10,000 donation from the Standale Meijer location, through the retailer’s “Meijer Team Gives” program.
The contribution follows a nomination and voting process in which Standale Meijer team members selected a local organization they believe is making a meaningful difference in the community.
Robin Owczarzak, store director of Meijer Store #216 in Standale, said the store’s purpose of enriching lives in the communities they serve is at the heart of everything they do.
“We’re proud to support the Kent County Animal Shelter and the incredible work they do for pets and families in our community,” said Owczarzak. “Our team cares deeply about animal welfare, and this donation reflects our commitment to making a positive impact w
