MONTREAL – CAE Inc. has announced an agreement to be the preferred supplier of certain training and simulation equipment for Sweden-based Saab’s airborne early warning system.
The Montreal-based company says the agreement will leverage CAE’s expertise in advanced training systems and the delivery of flight training devices.
Under the agreement, CAE will provide simulation-based training to support Saab’s airborne early warning system.
CAE says it will also provide pilot and maintenance training services.
CAE CEO Matt Bromberg says in a press release that training and simulation expertise is critical to defence forces in Canada and around the world, while the agreement with Saab responds to an evolving geopolitical landscape that requires stronger partnerships.
