PITTSBURG — Authorities have released the identity of an Antioch man who was shot and killed here earlier this year.
Charles Lamont Hearnton, 32, was shot and killed on the night of Jan. 29, near the intersection of Century Boulevard and North Park Boulevard in Pittsburg. He was remember in an online obituary as “a son, a father, a brother, a cousin, an uncle.”
“You will be missed by so many people. You had a beautiful soul and a beautiful heart, thank you for giving us 31 beautiful years,” the obituary says.
No arrests have been announced, nor have police publicly revealed if they learned the suspected motive. The car used by the suspect was recovered in Antioch, several days later, and had been damaged, authorities said.
