Corpus Christi ISD is considering closing several school buildings.
No official decisions have been made, and before the school board takes action on potential school closures, the district intends to hold community meetings and solicit input from the community.
On Nov. 20, the Corpus Christi Independent School District Board of Trustees held a special meeting with only a facilities update on the agenda. Over the course of about an hour and 45 minutes, board members discussed potential campus closures and the district's finances.
