City health officials say the life expectancy in NYC is up to 83.2 years.
It comes two years after the Adams administration launched the HealthyNYC plan — aimed at improving and extending the lives of New Yorkers.
The program educates New Yorkers about the importance of healthy eating, more postpartum resources and reminds everyone to get updated vaccines.
Acting City Health Commissioner Dr. Michelle Morse joined "The Rush Hour" on Thursday to talk more about the data, and react to the CDC website reflecting skepticism about vaccines and their potential link to autism.
