CHICO — The North State Food Bank will be distributing food at the Biggs Community Center in Biggs on Friday, and at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico on Saturday.

The food bank has been distributing food across Butte, Glenn and Orland counties throughout November, and added the distribution in Chico on Saturday to supplement SNAP benefit delays.

Both Friday and Saturday’s distributions will go from 10 a.m. to noon, and are on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost.

Chico Food Project Community Food Drive

The Museum of Northern California and the Chico Food Project teamed up for a community food drive, which began Nov. 6 and will be held through Dec. 12. The food drive drop-off table is located in the foyer at monca in Chico, 900 The Esplanade.
