White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is defending Donald Trump for his comments calling a reporter “piggy.”

The President of the United States faced backlash for turning to a reporter and telling her, “ Quiet. Quiet, Piggy .” The incident happened on a flight where Trump was taking questions from the press.

Bloomberg ‘s Catherine Lucey tried to ask a question about the Epstein files before being called “piggy” by the president.

Now, Leavitt is defending the situation and praising Trump for being “honest with everyone.” She also said the press should “appreciate” the president for his frankness.
