LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While there is a lot to celebrate as Kentucky is showing improvements in education, there are still several areas for improvement.
The Assessment and Accountability Report, released Wednesday, sees gains in graduation rates but lacking middle grade reading and math proficiency.
The Kentucky School Report Card shows some promising wins, like an almost 94% graduation rate, which is well above the national average.
More importantly, the data shows students are using their diplomas effectively, as there were big gains in career readiness this year.
