Boston police officers recovered a Bersa .380, a folding knife and brass knuckles from a 48-year-old Boston man at Roxbury bus terminal Tuesday evening.

Freddie Bates was arrested and expected to be arraigned on charges of carrying a loaded firearm without a license, second offense; possession of a firearm without an FID card; and carrying a dangerous weapon.

BPD was alerted to a report of a person with a gun near 25 Warren St. on Tuesday around 8:11 p.m.

Transit police relayed a description of the suspect to BPD, who found an individual matching the description at the bus terminal.
