Federal officials say ICE arrested 13 people in Wednesday’s raid on the Ocean Seafood Depot in Newark, the same business targeted in January as one of the first actions of President Donald Trump’s ongoing crackdown on undocumented immigrants.

“On November 19, while executing a search warrant as part of a criminal investigation, ICE arrested 13 illegal aliens employed at Ocean Seafood Depot in Newark, New Jersey,” read a statement issue Thursday by a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security , ICE’s parent agency.

“Worksite enforcement remains a cornerstone of our efforts to protect public safety, national security, and economic stability while rescuing individuals who may be victims of labor trafficking or exploitation,” the statement added.
