Hadestown: Teen Edition tells the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice: two lovers who fight against their fate to try and bring the world back into tune. The gods Hades and Persephone were once in love, and their disharmony is causing the cold, dark, winter to be drawn out endlessly. Orpheus is trying to right the world through his song of the gods’ love, while Eurydice is just a poor, hungry, young girl looking for something to eat. Their fates collide and they fall in love, and all is well until Eurydice is dragged down to the Underworld by Hades.
