Excelsior Springs police locate fatal hit-and

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS — The Excelsior Springs Police Department has identified suspect allegedly involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident Nov. 12.

The police department says in a news release detectives first identified the vehicle and contacted the driver.

The driver is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation, according to the release. At the end of the investigation charges will be submitted to the Ray County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration.

The victim was identified as Mary Levingston, 35, of Kansas City.
