Veteran Airy to be party’s CM face in polls

The newly appointed central president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, Surendra Kukreti announced that the party will contest all 70 seats in the 2027 Assembly elections. He also announced veteran leader and former minister Kashi Singh Airy will be the chief ministerial face of the party in the 2027 elections. Addressing the media at the party’s central office here on Saturday, he said the party will also work on improving its organisational structure. He gave the slogan “Respect for seniors, responsibility for youth.”
Kukreti said that the party is getting strong support from the youth and women of the State. According to him, people are unhappy with national parties and now want to see the UKD in power.
