West Mesquite made big play after big play on Friday, keyed by four interceptions, as they posted a 35-6 victory over Midlothian in a Class 5A Division I Region II area round playoff game at Mesquite Memorial Stadium.

The Wranglers improve to 11-1 and advance to the regional semifinals for the first time since 2010, where they will face Lone Star (12-0) at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Ford Center at The Star.
