Chicago police responded to two separate shootings Friday night after the city celebrated its Christmas lighting event. One person was killed and several others injured. Chicago’s 2nd Ward, Alderman Hopkins, wrote on X that “300 juveniles” were “rioting” and that police were “attacked and injured with mace and stun guns.”
