A 13-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in her home down south. ‌

The teenager was detained after the woman was discovered in the home in Swindon on Friday night, November 21. ‌

The alarm was raised when officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a house on Baydon Close, Moredon. ‌

When police arrived, a woman in her 50s living at the property was found to not be breathing.

She was declared dead at the scene. Cops said her next of kin had been notified, reports Manchester Evening News .

A crime scene has been set up at the property and investigation has been launched to find out what happened. ‌
