Tailgaters did not let the rain stop them early Saturday morning as they prepped for the 141st match-up of Yale vs. Harvard football.

“It’s an opportunity to get together with old friends and each other’s company, like we did back in the old days,” said Dave Seitelman.

Seitelman graduated from Yale in 1990. For 25 years, he and his college friends have been tailgating ahead of The Game. Their set up features a raw bar, a pizza oven imported from Italy, and a Yale-themed ice sculpture.

“It got increasingly more ridiculous,” he said about their set-up.

This year, they are raising money in honor of a late friend, who died in a car accident.

“Our classmate, John Bailey, same class as the rest of us,” said Seitelman.
