CINCINNATI —

The Cincinnati Fire Department says that they extinguished a fire at a house in Madisonville on Saturday, with the fire believed by investigators to have possibly been set intentionally.

Firefighters responded to the scene of the home at the 6800 block of Vinewood Avenue at 1:38 p.m. First responders said smoke was coming from the second floor of the building, which was described as a two-story single-family wood-frame home. Advertisement

According to CFD, the fire was extinguished quickly and was not found not to have spread beyond the second floor.

However, during the course of their investigation, first responders say that they discovered evidence at the home that led them to believe that the fire was intentionally set by someone inside the home.
