ROCHESTER HILLS – The Goodrich Martians are asking everyone to keep one of its own in their prayers.

Dan Sellers, Goodrich’s football announcer and a retired teacher, collapsed on the sidelines following the conclusion of Saturday’s MHSAA Division 4 state semifinals matchup between Goodrich and Dearborn Divine Child at Rochester Hills Stoney Creek High School.

He immediately received Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on the sidelines.

Goodrich head coach Tom Alward was able to give an update on Sellers following the game and commended the prompt response.

“(Sellers) is a great man,” Alward said. “They tell me he’s responding well now once they revived and put the AED on him. Thank God for those. What his prognosis is at this point, I don’
