AMES – It's been something of a weird year for Iowa State football season-ticket holders.
The Cyclones opened the season away from Jack Trice Stadium for the first time in 23 years. Then, thanks to the quirks of the schedule, there was just one home game to attend from Sept. 7 to Oct. 24. That one game was a resounding Iowa State win over Arizona, but by the time the Cyclones again took the field in their hometown, a 5-0 start had slumped to 5-2 and would only get worse with back-to-back home losses.
