A former corporate tech executive will oversee the state's efforts to use artificial intelligence to make government work more efficiently.
Tai Phan will serve as Oklahoma's chief artificial intelligence and technology officer, state officials announced Friday, Nov. 21.
In the role, Phan will work with state leaders to implement AI technologies and set ethical standards and best practices for its usage.
