Liverpool-linked Marc Guehi has praised his Crystal Palace teammates after Saturday's 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The centre-back was poised to complete a £35million move to Anfield on deadline day in the summer.

However, Palace put the brakes on a proposed transfer after failing to secure a replacement. Missing out on Guehi at the time was not seen as a blow for Arne Slot's side, with the England defender seeing his Palace contract expire next summer, meaning the Reds could then sign him for free.
