The Union women’s hockey team came close to upsetting a nationally ranked team for the second straight game. But a controversial penalty call in overtime on Saturday ruined that chance.

Elyssa Biderman scored a power-play goal with 35.4 seconds left in OT to give 13th-ranked Colgate a 3-2 ECAC Hockey victory over the Garnet Chargers at M&T Bank Center.
