WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Trump responded on Saturday via Truth Social to Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation announcement.

Trump referred to Greene as "Marjorie Traitor Brown" in his post. He claimed she was resigning due to plummeting poll numbers and a fear of facing a primary challenge from a Trump-endorsed candidate.

Trump stated that their relationship soured after he refused her "never ending barrage of phone calls."

Despite the tension, Trump thanked Greene for her service in Congress.
