Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Saturday a new $1 billion investment in TSA security checkpoints at airports across the United States.

Speaking from inside Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas , Noem said the money will go toward “new technology and advancements in security systems,” touting it as the largest investment in airport screening technology in over a decade.
