GLASGOW — There could be more bad injury news for Canada coach Jesse Marsch.
Glasgow Rangers coach Danny Röhl says Canadian centre back Derek Cornelius is going to see a specialist about a muscle injury.
The German coach said before Rangers' 2-1 win over Livingston in Scottish Premier League play Sunday that the injury could be significant.
Cornelius had to come off in the 33rd minute of Canada's 2-0 win over Venezuela in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday.
He did not see action in Canada's scoreless draw with Ecuador on Nov. 13 in Toronto because he had been carrying a knock.
