STURGEON BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A man was found dead after a house fire in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday.

Just before 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Sturgeon Bay police and fire departments were called to a house fire in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Street.

When firefighters entered the house, they found an unresponsive man. He was removed from the house, and life-saving measures were performed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s identity has not been released at this time. The incident is still under investigation by the Sturgeon Bay police and fire departments, as well as the Wisconsin State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.
