We have reported on a range of drink-driving cases from across Wales in recent months. Some led to lucky escapes, others horrendous injuries.

One 37-year-old man left a teenage passenger with a fractured skull after dangerously approaching a bend and saying: "Watch this now." Another offender was a serving police officer caught drink-driving a force vehicle.

Drink-driving carries a minimum 12-month driving ban. The alcohol limit for drivers is 35mcg per 100ml of breath or 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. For the latest court reports sign up to our crime newsletter .
