Delhi continues to choke under deteriorating air quality, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) climbing to 430 on Sunday at 7 am, placing it in the ‘Severe’ category, according to the latest data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The alarming pollution levels have once again raised concerns over public health as winter conditions and low wind speed worsen the smog situation.

Mayur Vihar and surrounding areas as a layer of toxic smog blankets the city with AQI (Air Quality Index) in the area is 429, categorised as 'Severe', as claimed by CPCB. India Gate this morning recorded AQI 388, categorised as 'Very Poor'.
