Residents on a Derby street may be wondering if Christmas has come early after a man created a festive wonderland in his front garden to raise money for a local school.

Trevor Wright has transformed his Alvaston home into a Christmas shrine in recent weeks, putting up around 35 different decorations to raise money for the Parent Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) at St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy in Alvaston.
